Tamil Nadu-head quartered Milky Mist Dairy Food, which listed on the stocks markets in August this year, registered 308.4% growth in profit after tax during April-September compared with the corresponding period last fiscal.
According to K.
Rathnam, its wholetime director and Chief Executive Officer, revenue from operations during the first half of the current fiscal registered year-on-year growth of 42.5% and EBITDA grew 62.9%.
Despite the prevailing inflation in agricultural sector, El Nino impact, and geopolitical uncertainties, Milky Mist registered growth due to its wide range of value added products, calibrated price rise, and operational efficiency, he said.
Revenue growth was driven by steady demand across the product portfolio both, by value and volume with the protein range being the fastest growing segment.
“Moving forward our priorities remain scaling our value-added portfolio, expanding distribution, and improving capacity utilisation to meet evolving consumer demand,” he told the media in an online interaction on Thursday.
