The Union Ministry of Textiles will reopen the portal — https://pli.texmin.gov.in — to receive applications under round four of the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for textiles from November 1 to December 31.
The focus will be on manufacturing of Man-Made Fibre (MMF) apparel, MMF fabrics and technical textiles.
In the current round the minimum annual turnover requirement has been reduced from ₹200 crore to ₹100 crore under Part 2 category of the scheme, to encourage participation by MSMEs and mid-sized manufacturing units.
The scheme tenure has been extended up to 2033–2034 only for applicants approved under this round.
Further, all existing participant companies that were approved in the first three rounds of the scheme and have not claimed or received any incentive so far can migrate to round four, subject to withdrawal of their existing applications.
