HRV Pharma, a virtual pharmaceutical company headquartered in Hyderabad, is acquiring Phatebo GmbH, a licensed pharmaceutical wholesaler in Germany specialising in clinical trial supply.
The acquisition will take it beyond active pharmaceutical ingredients into finished formulations and give it a licensed operating business in Germany, HRV said on Tuesday.
It, however, did not disclose the terms of transaction.
Phatebo had revenues of around ₹350 crore in 2025, HRV said, announcing the signing of definitive agreements to acquire 100% in Phatebo from ZeroStack Corp.
Founded in 2015, the German firm sources investigational, comparator and ancillary medicines, including innovative branded therapies, for global pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organisations.
It operates quality systems built for good distribution practice, and it also trades in pharmaceuticals and medical devices across Europe and international markets, the company said.
Phatebo will continue to operate under its own name from Hilzingen, Germany, led by Managing Director Martin Lisker, with its existing team and customer agreements in place.
“Bringing them into the HRV family gives us our first finished formulations business, alongside the API portfolio we have built since 2015,” said Hari Kiran Chereddi, founder, MD and CEO of HRV Pharma.
